Beginning Monday, July 20 we will reopen our doors (at both locations) for quick visits for the community to browse materials, get reference and readers’ advisory assistance, and fax or make copies. You may also make appointments to register to vote or get notary services at the Main Library. The public computers, study rooms, quiet reading room, play areas, and any places to sit and gather will NOT be available.
We are requiring that you:
- Properly wear a mask at all times (ages 2 and up)
- Maintain physical distance of 6 feet from others when possible
- Understand that maximum occupancies will be enforced (125 at Main Library; 20 at Branch Library) Browse and take items to enjoy. Keep visits short (less than one hour).
- If you cannot wear a mask for health or personal reasons, you may use our drive-thru services. If you need other assistance, please call or contact us online.
We continue to be available to serve you by phone at 847-458-6060 and chat us (to the right), whether it’s a Readers’ Advisory or reference request, an appointment for curbside services, or collecting Summer Reading prizes! Virtual programs and services are keeping our staff extra busy, so we appreciate your patience as it may be a delay returning your call or processing your request.
