🚧 Construction continues at the Eastgate Branch, and while the rumbling and roaring of machines and progress takes place, we will need to adjust our hours a bit while the removal of some plumbing fixtures and the installation of steel beams takes place over the course of the week. We assure you that our goal is to remain open as much as possible during the project.
On Thursday, June 13, the library will offer lobby service only from 10 am to 3 pm. The library will be open on Thursday with regular services available from 3-8 pm. On Wednesday, June 12, lobby service hours will be 10 am to 8 pm*. Library officials and the construction team will then determine future hours of operation based on the progress made Monday through Thursday.
🚧 What is lobby service?
Lobby service allows patrons to enter the Eastgate Branch lobby to register or check-in for the Summer Reading Program, pick up holds, request books to be retrieved or placed on hold, briefly use one internet-connected computer, or interact with staff. During this time, most online resources will be available from home.
