The Centennial Passport challenge
Our 100th birthday celebration continues with the Centennial Passport! Every month, we offer “Centennial Happenings;” special activities, programs and events for adults, teens and kids, which celebrate a century of Algonquin Area Public Library. Each time you participate in one, you can enter a drawing to win one of these great prizes:
AAPLD Cardholders:
- Infants through Kindergartners: A LeapFrog Academy Tablet
- First Grade through Twelfth Grade: A Nintendo Switch Lite
- Adults: A getaway for two at Galena’s beautiful Chestnut Mountain Resort, a $50 gas card and $400 worth of gift cards.
Non-Cardholders:
- $50 Amazon Gift Card
Here's how it works.
Go to Beanstack and register for the Centennial Passport challenge. As with our reading programs, you'll need to register each family member who wants to participate. If you're not sure how to do this, give us a call.
Look through our newsletter to find Centennial Happenings, which are identified with the 100th Birthday logo. Register and participate in the event, program, or Take and Make crafts. Record your participation in Beanstack to be entered into the prize drawings.
Enjoy the activities you love and win prizes. Now, that's a great way to celebrate!
FAQs
No. Because of the large number of Happenings offered, a paper log wouldn't be practical.
There's no expiration date, and you can visit the resort any time you like. Visit their website to find out more.
Since this is a year-long celebration, we'll announce the winners in February, 2022, when our 100th Birthday Celebration concludes.
