On February 22 from 3 to 7pm, the Algonquin Area Public Library District will host a blood drive at the Harnish Main Library, 2600 Harnish Drive (west of Randall Road). This blood drive is conducted in partnership with Heartland Blood Centers. Heartland is the sole provider to 65 hospitals in the Chicagoland area, including all area Veterans Affairs hospitals.
