If you've been at the Harnish Main Library this week, you know a lot is going on! Movers have been here to relocate shelves, the Adult Services Desk has been relocated, walls have been painted, and much more!
You may have noticed that the construction trailer, a fixture in our parking lot since August, is now gone. The construction fence will be removed shortly, but please exercise caution in that part of the lot, as there will still be subcontractor activity as the project finishes up. You may also notice the Dumpster and construction equipment and/or debris. Please be careful!
We appreciate your patience as we work with subcontractors regarding the HVAC system. The situation is one that we continue to closely monitor, but is unfortunately not within our control. Thank you again for your patience as we work out this unanticipated kink.
As new picture book bins and curved shelving is in stalled in Youth Services, the picture book collection will not be available; however, new picture books will continue to be available and patrons may place holds on titles as needed.
We're in the home stretch! Please mark your calendar for September 15 and plan to attend our district-wide Renovation Celebration--our way of building excitement around our new spaces and thanking the community for its unwavering support during construction.
