Celebrate the completion of our construction/renovation project on Saturday, September 15 from 10am to 4pm! Enjoy activities for all ages, light refreshments, and live entertainment at the Harnish Main Library and the Eastgate Branch Library. Attendees will receive a free book bag to personalize at the event (one per household please, while supplies last). Everyone receives a passport at the door: get a punch at all the passport locations and turn it your completed passport before you leave for a free treat coupon!
Be sure to take a tour of our new and improved spaces to see where you fit in! Join a guided tour of all new spaces as well as a unique look at what goes on behind the scenes–or use the passport to take a self-guided tour of public spaces. Work on projects in the new makerspace at the Harnish Main Library; explore resources, programs, and games in the dedicated computer labs; and learn about all the cool stuff the main library teen area. We’ll have storytimes with community helpers for the kids, as well as craft projects and technology demos in the new Creation Center at Harnish.
