The AAPLD app is available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Just use the search term “AAPLD.” You can also search using “Algonquin Library,” “Algonquin Area Library,” or “Algonquin Area Public Library.”
Your app includes these features:
- “New Arrivals,” which showcases newly-acquired items in the collection
- “Show My Library Card,” a quick way to display your library card bar code and number for convenient checkouts
- “Catalog Search,” which helps you find what you’re looking for AND place a hold
“Events,” a quick way to sign up for library programs/events, add them to your calendar, and share them with your friends.
Save money by using the app to scan an ISBN when you’re at a store to see if we have the book in the library. You can also check out our online learning resources easily, access kids’ favorites like Tumblebooks, review our digital collections, and access your AAPLD account quickly and easily.
