On behalf of the Library’s Staff and Board of Trustees, we are thrilled to announce the reopening of the Eastgate Branch Library on Monday, January 6! After eight months of extensive renovations, we’re ready to welcome you back into a beautifully transformed space that will enhance your reading, learning, and community experiences.
Our renovation project has been a labor of love, designed with your needs and interests in mind. Both floors have been completely updated to include new windows that flood the interior with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We understand the importance of a vibrant space for our patrons, and we believe these improvements will make your visits even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights of our renovations is the new patio and play area for kids and families. This outdoor space will serve as a perfect spot for children to safely explore and play, while families can relax and enjoy the fresh air. We’ve also created new meeting and learning spaces that are both flexible and functional. Whether you’re attending a craft class, meeting for a book club, hanging out after school, or needing a quiet spot to study or read, you’ll find the perfect space to suit your needs. Our updated facilities are designed to foster collaboration and creativity, making the Eastgate Branch a hub for community gathering and engagement.
Programming will resume at the Eastgate Branch in February. You can look forward to a variety of events tailored for all ages, including hands-on imaginative play for young children, STEM club for older kids, craft classes and book discussions for adults, and other special programs.
