What is StackMap?

Did you know that when searching for library items in our online catalog, you can use StackMap to easily locate them in the building? This feature helps you wayfind on your own, but of course, our incredible staff is always happy to assist you! StackMap is perfect for those in a hurry, anyone feeling a little shy, or patrons who simply enjoy finding things independently.

AAPLD has been using StackMap since January 2016, and with the reopening of Eastgate, we’ve updated our maps! Now, you can easily navigate the new Children’s Area at Eastgate and explore some impressive updates at our Harnish location. Click on any of the demonstration images to see a larger view.

How to Use StackMap:

1. Visit our online catalog and search for an item.

2. On the results page, click “Find It” on the right side.

3. A window will open with available copies at both Harnish and Eastgate. Click “Find It” again.

4. A map will pop up with directions and a pin showing the item’s location.
